"Measuring Objects" is an employment test that measures the ability to measure objects using both the U.S. standard and metric systems (measurement test). This skills teat assesses measurement accuracy required for completing job tasks involving measuring instruments.

Assessment Procedure |
Each problem in this assessment includes a picture of a standard or metric ruler, which is not drawn to scale. The standard ruler uses 1/8 inch markings. The metric ruler uses millimeter markings. A shape representing an object is shown above the ruler. Two arrows extend down from the object to the ruler. The space between the two arrows represents the distance to be measured. The left arrow does not always begin at the zero mark on the ruler. For each problem, individuals are asked to determine the distance between the two arrows. |
