"Entering Alphanumeric Data" is an employment test that measures the ability to enter alphanumeric data into computers with speed and accuracy by applying simple rules (keyboard test). Individuals are asked to enter the following types of alphanumeric data: names, addresses, dates, social security numbers, telephone numbers, numbers. They are expected to follow certain rules when entering the data (e.g., do not use capital letters, periods, commas, parentheses, hyphens). The assessment is scored for both speed and accuracy. |
